Col. John Blair, (1720 - 1789) married Sarah, (1723- 1817) on Nov. 12, 1744. Their son, John Blair Jr. was born Feb. 15, 1754.
John Blair Sr. served as Justice of the Peace in Cambridge, N.Y. He joined the American Army with his son, John Blair Jr. Albany County Militia - 16th Regiment - and was appointed Lt. Col.

John Blair Jr. (1754 - 1836) married Jean Rogers (1757 - 1835) on May 14, 1781.

Lydia Blair (1782 - 1855) married Henry Rickert (1784 - 1854) on Aug 13, 1807. Their son, James, was born on Aug.2, 1808.
