Ever wonder who is behind each square in the Sunnyhill Banners? Below you'll see "thumbnail" pictures of each of our 5 banners, with a label centered underneath. The name of the creator of that square will appear in the small window, along with the story (if there is one) behind it.

The first three quilts were made to celebrate the first 25 years of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the South Hills. All Members & Friends were invited to choose a packet of co-ordinated fabric pieces and make an 8 inch square. The theme might be the expression of what Sunnyhill meant to them, a family value or interests, or just a pleasing design.

In 1995 2 more quilts were added to our set, celebrating 30 years of our Fellowship-Church. Then, in 2000, two more quilts were created, reflecting the new members joining since 1995.
